Berlin, my new streetart playground

When you plan a trip to a city that you don't really know, you invest in cityguide like Cartoville or Lonely planet to list the best places to see.
That's what I did, when planning my trip to Berlin.
And then I left Cartoville and Lonely planet in my bag ... I eventually kept the plans ... and get strolling from the streets of Prenzlauer Berg to the famous Unter den Linden through Alexander Platz by attaching myself to what I like most, the open air art gallery that artists of street art offered.
No matter the "must sees", by the way Berlin isn't going to disappear.

In Berlin, where street art is rooted in the history of the city, there are commissioned frescoes and then "wild" grafs, collages, advertising diversions,  stencils which berliner authorities looks at with a quiet sympathy.
I left Paris with a few names in mind I was hoping to find work as Alias, MTO, Xoooox, Bonk !, El Bocho ...
and if I have found at least one, also very present in Berlin with his character Little Lucy (who spends her time killing her cat with a tenacity that is matched only by my ability to take systematically the bad way even with a map), El Bocho, I didn't spot the others but came across ROA, Pille and his super balls, Augustine Koffie associated to Miles MacGregor aka El Mac, Stinkfish ... in short, I want to go back there quick ;)
For another stay, I will push my strolls to Friedrischshain and further south in the Kreuzberg district, and maybe choose a tour to get useful information on artists I don't know and avoid to get lost.

For this first street art's round  in Berlin, I stayed mostly in Prenzlauer Berg, strolling around Schönhauser Allee, Prenzlauer Allee, Marienburger Strasse, Mülhauser Strasse, Oderberger Strasse, trying to get each courtyards and little streets.
